Frequently asked questions
›How do I find a reciprocal quickly?
Add or subtract 180°. Mental trick: for 090 → 270, add 200 and take away 20; for 270 → 090, take away 200 and add 20.
›What about runways?
Runway numbers are the magnetic direction in tens of degrees, so the other end is the reciprocal: 09 ↔ 27, 18 ↔ 36.
