1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of FL340 (www.fl340.com) (the “Site”), operated by the FL340 site operator (“we”, “us”). By using the Site or creating an account you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Rules. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Not for navigational use

The Site is an information and community service. It is not an official aeronautical information source and must not be used for flight planning, navigation or any operational decision. Airport data, runways, frequencies, weather (METAR/TAF), abbreviations, calculator results and all user content may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Always use official and current sources. The AIP, NOTAMs, ATIS, approved charts, your aircraft flight manual and your operator's procedures. And the instructions of air traffic control. The pilot in command remains solely responsible for the safe conduct of every flight.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Give a valid email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Your nickname must not impersonate another person or organisation or be offensive.
• One person, one account. Accounts may not be sold or transferred.

4. Your content and your responsibility

Forum topics and entries, votes, notes and anything else you post (“User Content”) are created by users, not by us. Each user is solely responsible (legally and otherwise) for the User Content they post, including its accuracy, its lawfulness and any consequences of relying on it. User Content reflects only the views of its author and does not represent the views of FL340 or the FL340 site operator.

With respect to User Content, we act as a hosting provider (in Turkish law, a yer sağlayıcı under Law No. 5651). We do not check User Content before it is published and have no general obligation to monitor it. When we are notified of unlawful content we review it and remove or disable access to it where required, as described in the Community Rules.

You keep ownership of your User Content. By posting it you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, format and distribute it on the Site and in its apps, and to show it in search results and previews, for as long as it is on the Site. Content you delete may remain in backups for a limited time and in places where other users have quoted it.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to post your User Content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.

5. What you must not do

• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, obscene or that invades privacy.
• Share personal data of others, confidential company documents or security-sensitive information (for example airport security procedures, access codes).
• Infringe copyright: for example by copying paid charts, manuals or training material.
• Post spam, advertising or affiliate links, or manipulate votes and reputation (multiple accounts, vote trading).
• Attack, overload, scrape or try to bypass the security or limits of the Site.

We may remove content, limit features or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Community Rules.

6. No warranty

The Site and all its content and tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, free of charge, without any warranty (express or implied) of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the FL340 site operator is not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Site; from reliance on any information, calculation or User Content; or from content posted by users or third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.

8. Third-party data and links

Some data comes from third parties, for example airport data from OurAirports, weather from aviationweather.gov and abbreviations from FAA Order JO 7340.2. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the Site at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to legal@fl340.com from your account email.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; material changes will be announced on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and Turkish courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
