Community Rules & Reporting

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Your words, your responsibility

Everything in the forum is written by members. Every member is personally responsible for what they post; entries show the opinion and experience of their author only, not of FL340. Content is not checked before it appears, so read it critically. And never use it instead of official sources for flying.

Rules

  1. Be useful and stay on topic. Share real experience, sources and context. Mark opinions and rumours as such.
  2. Respect people. No insults, harassment, hate speech, threats or discrimination. Criticise ideas, not persons.
  3. Protect privacy. Do not post personal data, photos of identifiable people without consent, or private conversations.
  4. No accusations about named people or companies without evidence. Accidents and incidents may be discussed factually; leave investigations to the authorities.
  5. Safety and security first. No security-sensitive information (access codes, security procedures, vulnerabilities of airports or aircraft) and no advice to break regulations.
  6. Keep crews safe. Do not name crew hotels, room numbers, crew transport pick-up points and times, or anything else that would let someone find or follow a crew.
  7. Respect copyright. Do not copy paid charts, manuals, exam question banks or training material. Link to sources instead.
  8. No spam or manipulation. No advertising, referral links, multiple accounts or vote trading.
  9. One topic per subject. Search before opening a topic; entries belong under the existing title.

Breaking the rules can lead to removal of content, temporary limits or closure of the account. Repeated or serious violations may be reported to the competent authorities.

Blocking members

You can block a member from their profile. You will no longer see their forum entries and pilot notes, and neither of you will follow the other. They are not notified. Unblock them at any time from their profile or Settings (the gear on your own profile).

Reporting content

Signed-in members can tap “report” under any entry, note or profile. If you believe content is unlawful or violates your rights (for example your personal rights or copyright), email legal@fl340.com with:

  • the link to the topic and the entry number (#),
  • why the content is unlawful or which of your rights it violates,
  • your name and contact details, and (if you act for someone else) your authority to do so.

We review reports promptly and remove or disable access to content where the law requires it. As a hosting provider under Turkish Law No. 5651 we also comply with decisions of courts and competent authorities, and we may contact the author. Reports made in bad faith may themselves be unlawful.
